Welcome... ResourceDictionary.com is about sharing files to help others with the styling and or functionality of UIElements and controls used in Microsoft Expression Blend and XAML based applications.
A core feature of Blend is the ability to skin controls with template created and saved in a Resource Dictionary and it is hoped that a strong community can be built facilitating the easy distribution of these files (Sometimes called RD's).
So what's here?
Downloads
As you can see, the site is brand new so content is on the skinny side but with your help; we should be overflowing with information, examples and downloadable content within a short time. I also need to work on certain areas of the site including a nice way for you guys to submit your work and some star galleries to help promote those that help the community.
Even though Blend is still in Beta at the moment, I think now is the right time to be starting this site and with a little help from you lot, we should have an excellent resource by the time Release 1 comes around.
Blogs
The Blogs area is really used for announcements of new content and tips, so be sure to syndicate to it for instant notification of new guff.
Photos
The Galleries area is what I am hoping will become a showcase for applicaiton images and possibly XBAP's, so if you have something you want to show but no hosting to show it on, just submit it and I will throw it up for you as well as send out an announcement to let everyone know.
If you have any suggestions then by all means please contact us or use the Suggestions Forums so we can share ideas with everyone.
